Hail & Wind Damage Claims in Texas
One storm can damage far more than you can see from the ground.
Kenro Enterprises represents Texas homeowners, business owners and ranch owners on hail, wind, tornado and fallen-tree damage claims. We work for you, not the insurance company. We make sure the full extent of the storm damage is documented, from the roof to the fence line, and pursue a fair settlement under your policy.
What Gets Missed After a Storm
Insurance inspections often focus on the obvious. The damage that gets missed or underpaid usually includes:
- Shingles: hail bruising and wind damage that isn't obvious from the ground
- Gutters: dents, splits and pulled-away sections
- Siding: cracks, holes and chipped or dented panels
- Fencing: damaged boards, panels and posts
- Hidden damage beyond the surface, which can show up later as leaks or further deterioration
We look at the whole claim, not just the parts that are easy to see.
Every Roof. Every Property.
- All wind damage: hail, wind, tornadoes and fallen trees
- All roof types: shingle, metal, tile, flat and commercial roofs
- All property types: residential, commercial and ranch properties
- Already paid or denied? We also review claims that were paid or denied. Insurance policies and the law set time limits on claims, so reach out as soon as you can.
We serve policyholders in San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, Laredo, Bastrop, College Station and Eagle Pass, Texas.
How We Handle Your Storm Claim
- Review. We go through your policy, your claim and everything the insurance company has sent you.
- Assess the damage. We review your photos and the damage documentation. On larger losses, we inspect the property in person.
- Estimate. We build a detailed comparative estimate, set side by side with the insurance company's, so you can see exactly what was left out.
- Negotiate. We handle the back-and-forth with your insurance company and back up every item with documentation.
- Bring in experts. When the claim needs them, we bring in the right experts, and we work with your own contractor if you have one.
- Settle. We work toward a fair settlement based on your documented damage and your policy.
After a Storm: Do This, Not That
Do:
- Document the damage. Take photos and videos of the roof (from the ground or a safe spot), siding, gutters, windows, fencing and any interior leaks.
- File your claim in a timely manner.
- Prevent further damage. Tarp the roof or board up openings to keep weather out, and take photos and keep the receipts.
Don't:
- Sign with a door-to-door contractor before checking their credentials and background.
- Accept the insurance company's damage list without knowing whether it covers everything.
When a Patch Job Won't Do
The most common mistake we see is accepting the damage the insurance company offers without question. Some repairs simply can't be done the way an estimate assumes:
- Age and condition: older materials may not survive a repair, so patching one section can damage the rest.
- Discontinued materials: some roofing, siding and other materials are no longer made, so a matching repair may not be possible.
These issues need to be documented and raised. How your policy treats them depends on its terms, and that's exactly what we review.
